Superdry Clothing is a UK clothing brand founded in 2003. It started in Cheltenham as Laundry Athletics and eventually opened its first store under the Superdry name in Covent Garden, London. The popularity of the brand grew rapidly after David Beckham was seen wearing its signature Osaka T-shirts and Brad leather jacket.
In 2008, a nationwide expansion of the brand took place, with stores opening in major cities all over the UK. Before the expansion, Superdry clothing was sold only in the London store, House of Fraser concessions and Cult stores. Superdry products fuse vintage Americana fabrics with pseudo-Japanese text.
